Clarity changes everything.

Bringing clarity to your goals, challenges, &
shaping the path forward!

What is executive coaching?

Executive coaching is about creating a safe and supportive space—one where you can pause, reflect, and reconnect with what truly matters to you. I see it as a one-on-one journey of self-discovery, where I help you discover yourself and your potential with greater clarity, so you can move forward with confidence and purpose.

As your coach, I’m here to walk alongside you, bringing clarity to your goals, career and personal life. Together, we’ll set meaningful goals, navigate the challenges that may be holding you back, and uncover what truly drives you. My role is to help you gain perspective, identify what’s standing in your way, and build practical, authentic strategies that align with who you are—and who you want to become.

Executive coaching isn’t about fixing you — it’s about helping you access the strengths, clarity, and resilience that are already within you.

Your mindset is your superpower! It can either hold you back or propel you forward.

About me

Bhakti Mathur is a credentialed executive coach (PCC), author, and former finance industry executive with over two decades of experience in private banking. During her corporate career, she worked with global firms, including J. Safra Sarasin, ING Asia, and Citigroup, where she managed the high-net-worth clients and led teams across regions.

While still in banking, Bhakti’s creative side found expression through her bestselling children’s book series, The Amma series, now comprising more than twenty-two titles. This journey from finance to storytelling reflects her belief that meaningful growth often happens when we follow our curiosity.

In 2017, Bhakti transitioned out of banking to pursue writing and personal development full-time. As a feature writer, she has published over one hundred ten + articles focusing on the extraordinary resilience of ordinary people in the face of adversity — a theme that deeply resonates with her coaching philosophy. Her ability to listen with empathy, connect authentically, and help people make sense of their experiences — skills that now lie at the heart of her coaching practice.

As a coach, Bhakti partners with clients across industries and cultures to help them navigate career transitions, leadership challenges, growth, and resilience-building. She creates a reflective and safe space for exploration —one that balances compassion with accountability.
Her approach combines strategic insight with emotional intelligence, helping clients clarify their goals, strengthen their self-awareness, and design actionable steps toward lasting transformation. Clients who work with Bhakti often describe her as an insightful thought partner — someone who listens deeply, challenges perspectives with kindness, and empowers them to discover solutions within themselves. Drawing from her own life experiences — including overcoming personal adversity, managing demanding corporate roles, and building a creative career — Bhakti brings both empathy and structure to her coaching conversations.
Beyond her professional life, Bhakti is a lifelong learner and fitness enthusiast. She has completed the New York Marathon and several half-marathons, and is currently training and teaching as a yoga teacher. She holds master’s degrees in Finance and Creative Writing; she is presently pursuing her third Master’s in Guidance and Counselling — a testament to her commitment to continuous growth and human understanding.

Not sure if you need my support?
Here are three questions to help you find out.

You’re working hard, but are you moving toward the career?

Life keeps throwing roadblocks — are you stuck in the same spot?

You’ve achieved success, but do you feel fulfilled in your work?

If any of these questions resonate with you, I’ve love to talk. It has taken me over 20 years to find my voice, my purpose and live my dream. I would like to help you do the same.

Real growth starts with
the right coach!

Career Advancement

When was the last time you jumped out of bed, excited to start the day? We spend at least a third of our day working, many of us even longer. So, you shouldn’t have to drag your feet to get ready for a job that you stopped loving years ago, or perhaps never did.

Whether we lack clarity about what we want to do or the courage to make the change, most of us don’t take a career switch lightly. I know I thought about it for years before I took the plunge. But when I did, it was the best decision I made, and I’m grateful for it each day.

In a career coaching program, you can discuss your life’s purpose in a confidential and safe space, as well as the obstacles preventing you from achieving it. So, if you’ve found yourself feeling uncertain lately and would like to explore your options, career coaching may be for you.

Career coaching includes the following areas, but isn’t limited to these:

  • Helping you clarify what you’re looking to do next.
  • Exploring self-limiting beliefs that don’t serve you.
  • Understanding financial constraints and their impact, if any.

Goal Setting

Have you always wanted to embark on a personal or professional project but haven’t been able to get yourself organised? We often create mental lists of things we wish to accomplish, but either get overwhelmed by the idea of planning them or let the routine of our lives take over—only to look back in regret years later.

Whether you want to get fit or go back to school, you may find yourself making plans without the motivation or a clear approach on how to achieve these goals.

In goal-setting coaching, we’ll discuss your plans and help you find a way to move forward that feels doable and leaves you with a genuine sense of accomplishment.

The program includes some of the following elements:

  • Exploring the relevance and importance of your goals.
  • Right-sizing goals based on current priorities.
  • Creating a sense of clarity around them.
  • Formulating action plans that feel challenging yet achievable.

Overcoming Life’s Obstacles

I help you navigate the challenges that life inevitably brings—the moments of uncertainty, transition, or self-doubt that can sometimes hold you back. Together, we explore what’s standing in your way, uncover patterns that no longer serve you, and find new perspectives that empower you to move forward with clarity and confidence.

Overcoming life’s obstacles isn’t about avoiding difficulties — it’s about learning to meet them with greater resilience, awareness, and strength. Through thoughtful conversation and guided reflection, I help you turn setbacks into stepping stones, so you can grow through every experience and continue moving toward the life you want to lead.

In these sessions, I aim to create an environment in which you can safely discuss the nuances of important relationships. With empathy and sensitivity, I will help you develop tools to manage conflict, so you feel empowered to have difficult conversations. I also guide you in exploring the perspectives that you find challenging to access, helping you create a way forward in a complex situation.

Frequently asked
questions

“Guiding you with clarity, confidence, and practical steps — every question matters.”

What is coaching?

Coaching is helping someone unlock their potential through a reflective conversation in a safe and confidential space without any judgements, leading them to increase their awareness of the situation and themselves.

I’m intrigued but still not completely sure if this is right for me. How can I learn more?

Please feel free to contact me for a complimentary chemistry meeting during which you can share your reasons for seeking coaching. In this session, I will help you understand more about my style, and together, we can determine if coaching is the right approach for you. Finally, this will give us a chance to get to know each other a little before we embark on a formal program.

How is the program structured?

Coaching works best in a series of hourly sessions which take place over a few months. In the chemistry meeting, we will agree on the proposed number of sessions (no minimum required) and length of program based on your objectives.

What happens in a coaching session? What will I get out of it?

The sessions are a confidential and safe space for you to openly explore the issues you have raised. By asking you a series of questions, I will challenge your thinking process and nudge you to adopt a more productive viewpoint towards your objectives. You will leave the session having reflected on the topic at hand and possibly armed with a previously-unexplored approach and/or solution.

What is the program cost?

This will depend on the duration of the program and will be discussed during the chemistry session.
